As we transition into fall, we are starting to think about this season’s trends and how we can incorporate them into our wardrobes. Personally I’m not one to go and do a full-on closet overhaul for every season but I still want to be on trend. Here are fall 2019’s trends and how to work them into your wardrobe.

Animal print has been incredibly popular for the last couple of seasons. This summer called for animal print shorts, tops, shoes, bags and even swimwear! The animal print trend is continuing and transitioning into the fall and now including cow print! I am not an animal print kind of girl by any means but I am obsessed with snakeskin prints so I’m pretty excited about this trend. You can pretty much find anything with an animal print. Animal print is a great way to add a nice pop to a simple outfit. Check out how these ladies wore animal prints.
Statement coats is another trend that has been developing over several seasons that I am excited to see continuing this fall/winter. Winter was once incredibly boring (or really cold) for us, fashionistas, but now you can shop a variety of coat and outerwear options that become a part of your outfit and not just for protection from the elements. A statement coat can be anything from a leather trench, to a faux fur coat, to a cropped puffer and the list really just goes on. Here are a few ideas on how to style your statement coat(s) this season.
The power suit is in ladies and no, you do not need to work in an office or corporate setting to rock it. Suiting has become more casual style in the last few years and I genuinely am here for it. There are so many ways you can work suiting separates into your wardrobe. Here are some ways these beautiful ladies have rocked suiting in a casual way.
Okay yes, leather is a staple in women’s closet at this point, but the trend here is head to toe leather. That means leather skirts, pants, tops, jackets, dresses, etc. Leather is a great fabric for the fall/winter season that keeps us stylish and warm. I’m pretty excited about this trend and can’t wait to grab a few leather pieces for myself. Get some inspo from these lovely ladies who make this trend look easy.
The western trend is also transitioning from summer to fall. My favorite thing about this trend especially going into fall is the colors and details. For this trend, it is all in the details. Look for studs, ruffles, embroidery, piped yoke, fringe, etc. Denim and utility-style pieces also play into this trend. A quick and easy way to incorporate this trend into your look is with a western-inspired belt or cowboy boots. See how these ladies gave their look a western flare.
The great thing about the trends this fall is that you can combine several trends into one piece. You can wear a snakeskin leather trench coat and knock out 3 trends in one shot. So go ahead ladies, have at it and give your wardrobe an update for the season.
